I was halfway done with this email when my comp turned off… sweeet.

Anyways I am going insane. So much has happened in the past 24 hours. Jumped on bus to airport, nice flight, met the prez and his wife + the aps at the airport. We stopped by the temple on our way to the presidents house and it is SWEET!

Had interviews and were told everything to do, then we got our comps and went to our areas. My comp is Elder Boswell from Chicago. He is a really nice guy and a hard worker. I can tell I am going to have no problems with him. we got to the house (which is the nicest house in the whole mission! and even more crazy, I am living with elder snowden (my comp from the mtc). crazy stuff.. so last night we go to the poorest part of our area and visit with a family. Their 9 year old is baptized but the parents cant get baptized because they aren’t married.. which supposedly is a big problem around here.. the mother took us over to her friends house who is taking care of an old woman who is sick in bed. We gave her a blessing which was really cool. The bus system is really cool here, and only costs about a buck wherever you go. It is REALLLLLY cold but i guess it is only thsis week and will warm up. Thats the summary of my crazy life right now, I will talk to you all next week! Send me letters! my address is:

thanks for all your support I love you all!

Well this will be my last pday in the ctm. Pretty crazy. As of this morning we are the oldest district. One of my comps elder Smith left this morning, he was two weeks behind transfer so he hung out with us for two weeks then took off this morning. He was really cool I am going to miss him.

Today we went to the Sao Paulo temple again. It is amazing. Then when we got back we went to lunch with one of our instructors. It was this cool place where they walk around with slabs of meat and slice off a piece on your plate. I am SOO full!

This week was pretty good. We are running out of things to learn so we just review grammer and read scriptures. I have started to read the book of mormon in portuguese and it is really helping my pronunciation, and surprisingly I actually understand most of what is being said!

We will be leaving early tues morning and flying to Curitiba, I am so excited! Not much else has been happening.. just the same ol stuff every day. I will leave you all with some sweet portuguese, and you can try and figure out what I am saying :)

Well the week has flown by again. Ryan left this morning which sucks but I was glad to at least have been able to hang out with him here for 6 weeks! I got some pictures and put them up on flickr you can check them out.

This week we got a new companion! His name is Elder Smith. Pretty much everything that could go right on a mission didn’t for him. His call never cam in the mail, his visa stuyff was late and it didn’t get processed in time so he was sent to provo for two weeks then came here for 9 weeks and is two weeks behind transfer so they are making him stay here for two more weeks. He is really patient about it and He is really cool. He is AMAZING at drawing and he wants to go into the animation field.

Our view from our room is a big building with a pool and during the day girls would sunbathe and I guess the president heard missionaries were talking to them from the windows so we had to switch rooms (rooms 605-608, 505-508, and 405-408) we were 508 and now we are 504. so it was nice to get a fresh clean room haha.

Sao Paulo temple is being cleaned this week which I wasn1′t very happy about because it is my 2nd favorite temple and I wanted to go back! so we went to campinas which was cool, we did our session in portugusese. I got a lot to learn still… haha

I am doing really well in the language, I have kind of hit a point where I just want to go out in the field.. I am studying a lot every day and am almost done with the new testament. I am going to read the bom when I am done with that. On sunday they show movies and yesterday we got to watch Outro lado de céu (other side of heaven) it was weird to see a real movie haha but I like it a lot.

Well that is about it for now.. my candy supply is dwindling rapidly and I didn’t get very many letters this week.. but I am not sick anymore so im happy! thanks for everything I love you all.

Well it´s been a crazy week. On Tuesday I bought a gatorade and when I finished drinking it my throat started hurting. It developed into minor strep but I have these AMAZING ricola throat drops that saved my life. But then it decided to turn into a cold so I have been crazy sick all week. Today is the first day where I actually am feeling almost normal. Everyone gets sick once and I am just glad mine came out the good end ;)

aaaanyways it has been super cold this week too. I felt like I was back in provo in december! but no snow.. Alas I did not bring a sweater and froze. It is warming up though so I am over it.

Some of my really good friends in our ramo(Bracnh) left this morning except good ol elder smith. His call never came, they sent a replacement. His visa stuff got lost, they sent a replacement. Texas took forever to process his visa so it was late, and he was sent to provo for a few weeks. He got here a month late from his real date so He has two weeks before tranfers so they are keeping him here for two more weeks. The worst part is they are throwing him in a brazillian district! He is a REALLY patient guy and really nice so he is taking a lot better than I would.

We had some good classes this week, I REALLY like my teacher Irmão Gonçalves. He is awesome. We always have such spiritual discussions and he makes us think about things that we never thought of. He likes us so he always eats with us haha. We got his wife (he is only 22!! they got married like right when he got back haha) to make us brownies and they were soooooo good.

We went Proselyting again on friday and it was awesome. ME and my comp. did really good, he is ahaving a little trouble with the language so I am helping him. We gave out all our books of mormon and a ton of passalong cards.

well thats about it. I am having fun and learning a lot. I love it here. Thanks for all the letters and packages!
